About Us

FINITA'S HOUSE

Finita's House began as a dream. A desire to create a space that would bring the collective together for retail therapy and a sense of community. Our founder, Jennifer, comes from a bloodline of resilient women and knew immediately that she wanted to build her brand around that resilience. This is how our name was born. The name Finita's House is a combination of Jennifer's grandmother's names, Fanny and Tonita.  Fanny, a widow at the age of 43, worked multiple jobs while raising two sons and, at the age of 91, is still a force to be reckoned with. Tonita, adopted at a young age, went on to raise 5 children while successfully running her own ceramics shop. Jennifer's dreams of becoming an entrepreneur were built in that ceramic shop where she'd work the cash register and assist customers who attended weekly classes.

FOUNDER

A mother of 2, Jennifer has always been a creative at heart.  Her first ever business venture was a nail salon in the back of her father's workshop at the age of nine. Having multiple ventures since then, that consisted of everything from blogging to event planning and sewing, Jennifer had been itching to create a space that makes you both look and feel good. Finita's House takes pride in curating pieces that speak to your soul.  Working mainly with women owned brands, Jennifer strives to carry pieces that tell a story and make you feel good in the process.  When you shop at Finita's House, you are doing more than purchasing an item, you're supporting a mother's dream that was built off resilience and love.
